I think everybody has solely one big dream or even several of them. I have dreamt about creating my own translation corporation. I don’t know how it would be called, but I think the name would be interesting but it would take a lot of time to imagine it.

The translations would work with the fiction books not the instructions, because it is too boring. The job would be suitable for that people who are initiative, like working in groups and know what team spirit is. Also for those who used to be accountable to anyone but themselves. Both ways of work have its own pros and cons. For example, if you want to work alone you might be encounter quiet periods, a degree of isolation. Work in group has a common goal and is good for morale, but if somebody doesn’t fit in, it can be disruptive and can undermine the work of the team.

The company would provide performance-related bonus scheme, maternity and paternity leave, comprehensive healthcare provision, company pension scheme, benefits package, allowance, 30 days’ holiday entitlement and subsidized canteen.

I think it would be an average corporation that would be specialized in translation. Staff would translate not bestsellers but some unknown books that are rather interesting.

                                   Vocabulary Classes

The trimester is ending. Looking back it is noticeable that there were some really useful subjects. One of them was The Vocabulary of Modern English.

I want to tell you my brief summary of the subject. It brought me enormous benefits. To be honest, I make a real effort to absorb all this new words and I am glad that there weren’t really great difficulties. Main concern was to make our English better using a lot of different collocations. Sometimes there was an utter chaos in my head because I didn’t know how to use some words but our teacher made it clear for us.

By the way, there also were smiling familiar faces of my group mates that really helped me to overcome all this considerable difficulties. The lessons were interesting. There were interaction and collaboration that make us feel team spirit better. We did a lot of creative tasks as writing our goals, making dialogs, singing songs and so on. So it was eventful. It is true, that I will miss this subject.

In conclusion I want to admit that now I’m sure”Practice makes perfect”. In future I will also do my bests to achieve my aims.

The happiest moments in my life

One of the happiest event of my life are meeting with my best friends. They all are essential part of my life, I always think with sadness, and horribleness about how my life would be like without my friends. I am sure that I would be bored without them. Because we always do some crazy things, have fun, cheer up each other, spent every free minutes together.

 Moreover, we have a tradition to have a camping at least ones at month. I am really over the moon of felling the connection with nature, felling the sun’s rays on my face and of course of being with my friends. At such moments, I fell calm and ecstatic.

What is more, I live in very beautiful place Kremenets. I grew up spending time in wild nature and walking in the forest. I always feel my heart pounding because of these magnificent vie. I am not such person who lose my temper and who always bottle my emotions at my friends.  So that I really feel strong connection with nature, when I feel that I am close to tears and feel depression I go to the forest for a walk alone. It always help me to reduce stress, to make all clear for me.

In the end I would like to say that, it is very important to have people who take interest in your problems, who are close to you. Personally I am really happy and pleased to have such friends. I heard one very good proverb “blood is thicker than water”. I can tell with sureness that my friends are my family and my heart tell me that we always will be together.

                                “MECHANICAL ORANGE”

On the 3th of October to Ostoh arrived one of my favorite group “MECHANICAL ORANGE”. I was totally overjoyed of it. My group mates and I were the participants of concert and we were over the moon of this fact. We all were impressed of their new songs that shows how patriotically they are. You know that in our uneasy time for Ukraine it is very important to show our team spirit and support. The participants of group are bikers so they also sang songs about their style of life, about their friends who were bikers and died. In generally about freedom, friends and love.  

Besides, the best of that evening was not only “MECHANICAL ORANGE”, but also the time that I spent it with my group mates. One of them was Sasha Barabash. As you know, at all universities students began to pass their exams and they all became stressed. Of course, I am not exception. I can give you some piece of advice how to reduce stress. Just spend time with your friends. I am sure that just next day you would feel calm, pleased and would be delighted with your life. In my opinion, friends are the best way to achieve it. Therefore, when I feel tired and that I am close to tears I always try to come into contact with my friends.

So “MECHANICAL ORANGE” helped me to relax, spend time with friends,reduce the level of stress and simply enjoy good music.

Have you ever thought about your daily routine, about what people are like around us? Some of them are optimistic and always share positive. But also there are pessimistic people or even skeptics who are anti-fan of positive thinking. Some people are pseudo optimists but inside feel loneliness and depression. I think some time there is misunderstanding only because of our different type of thinking. The word is multi-cultural and every nation has some typical type of absorbing information.

Now it is autumn and a lot of people are in deep depression. It is familiar to you, isn’t it? You feel overtired and exhausted because of overwork, unhappy because your boy/ girlfriend or just friends became ex boy/ girlfriend or pseudo friends that don’t support you and are unreliable. Also you might be unmarried but want to create family at last.

There are a lot of reasons to be depressed. The main aim is to learn how to overcome it. Some treat themselves by taking some antibiotic but it is just waste of money and health. There is better way to overcharge and make our life happier by absorbing positive from everywhere and everything. What is more, happiness is around us we must just catch it. When you think optimistic you will be happier and you’ll share positive to everybody. Furthermore it is really important not to inflict bad mood to anybody.

Also remember: “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything”.  Don’t sit on your sofa and cry how bad and cruel the world is. Just stand up and do your best to change your life. Turn around maybe you have everything necessary to be overjoyed.

Don’t be impatient because you need some time to achieve your goals. Also don’t do anything to impress anybody, just do it for yourself. Remember: “We as happy as we decided to be”.

In conclusion I want to add that it is just my view. You might be disagree but I hope that this recommendation somehow will help you.  

                     Body language

I’m sure that you have noticed that body language plays an important role in our lives. Sometimes we can recognize what people want to say by their tone or gestures. It helps us to display our feelings. As a matter of the fact pay attention that gestures are very useful and you should learn what every of it means. So let’s observe it.

So bear in mind, if somebody drums his/her fingers, licks his/her lips, scratches his/her head, it means that person is nervous. When person is worried, he/she usually bites his/her nails, strokes his/her chin. If somebody clenches his/her fists, pulls his/her hair, folds his/her arms, means the person is angry, irritated or even furious. When somebody raises his/her eyebrows, it means he/she is shocked. If person frowns or wrinkles his/her nose, it means he/she is disagree with you.

If someone has red face, it means that he/she is angry, embarrassed or ashamed. When person has sweaty palms, he/she is nervous, worried or even lies you. For example one of my group mates always frowns so we can make a generalization that he is very smart☻.

I hope that my recommendation will help you to recognize what your friend or even enemy think☺ Be attentive and remember “Actions speak louder than words”.

I decided to write you a letter in spite of the fact that you live in the past. How are you? Did something interesting happen?
 I would like to inform you that now I am your colleague. Like it was in the past English is widely spoken and it is mother tongue of a big amount of people but it is not spread only to native speakers whose first language is English. A lot of people from different countries speak English in order to communicate with people from other countries. It is an official language of many leading countries.

Learning English always brings enormous benefits. Now it helps me to become proficient speaker, chat with foreigners, have small talks, talk the business and perfectly speak my mind up. I am sure there won’t be another language nowhere near as popular as English.

So now you must take great proud in your work because everyone knows that you are really dedicated professional. I am sure that you will have considerable financial reward one day in the future and you will quickly adapt to live in this an ever-increasing pace. So your success is guaranteed.

The fairytale about dictionaries

Once upon the time there were two friends Oxford and Longman. Their friendship was strong.  They were like brothers but one day they fell in love with the same girl Queen Lexicology. That day changed all. They were boasting who are cooler. Who has the biggest amount of words, who are more handsome and better-built.

One day Oxford said to Longman:

“Hey you, stop yelling and irritated me. She’s mine. I saw her first. I’m better than you. She is so defenseless and I would protect her. We will be the best couple ever. Just imagine how pretty would be our children. Yours would be nowhere near as smart as ours.”

Longman answered:

“Hah, are you kidding me? I know you during all your life. Both of us knows who are better. Of course me. LOL. I can’t imagine you together it will be ridiculous. She is so beautiful and you are just average man. She will be mine, understand?”

Oxford gave an assurance:

 “Never. You are mistaken. I’m sure she choose me.”

Longman emotionally said:

“Just ask her. You proposed it. We’ll see. ”

Than men went to the Queen to know her opinion. She ask them to do her a favor.

The Queen said:

“I will give you several tasks also riddle is included.”

 Then she gave them a description.

“You must find followers and then you will be devoid of two groups.”

Men nervously licked their lips. Then they found participants to each team. They was originated from different lands but they was reputable and could easily be recognized by anybody. So teams were chosen excellently they could immune to any difficulties.

Teams did all the tasks and Longman team won. When Oxford and Longman came to the Queen she started laughing:

“I’m Queen Lexicology and who are you? Nobody. I’ll be with anyone despite my King.”
They answered:

“But we thought you are single”

She made a confession:

“Hah, it’s lie. I adore watching how old friends are fighting because of me. Your task was pointless.”

So due to this circumstances friends apologized and made piece. This adventure was eventful and worthwhile. They understood that friendship are stronger than love. The remembered their mistake for a long time.

Hello, my name is Valentyna. Now I am the second-year-student of Ostroh academy. It is a great honour to study here. I want to tell you about my first week in university after summer holidays.

Firstly, I was glad to see a lot of familiar faces. I couldn't imagine that I would miss my group mates so much, but I missed. Secondly, it was pleasure to see a great amount of new students. I am sure that they made a real effort to be here. Thirdly, I was really happy to have so many interesting new lessons. One of them was vocabulary of modern English. I liked this subject. We did a lot of creative work such as making poster and making goal list. Also we got a brief summary of subject with some classic examples and our teacher made it clear. I am sure it is very important to attend this lesson, because without it we will have considerable difficulties. All in all, I will take great effort to be successful in my qualification.
